Whether you are looking for a traditional leather , textile (windbreaker style), or mesh motorbike jacket, we make a point of choosing the biker jackets we sell with the customer in mind. The following is a brief explanation of the materials used for our biker jackets.
Textile: These are made from Cordura, a synthetic material that is well known for it's abrasion resistance capabilities. They also provide a special coating (Teflon in some cases) to help prevent damage during a slide.
Leather: Whether made from cowhide, buffalo, or lambskin, There is no denying the durability and attractiveness that comes with wearing leather. Several of these biker jacket styles also have vents to give extra cooling during the warmer riding seasons.
Mesh: While not as popular as the leather or textile types of biker jackets, this is still a very good choice for warm weather riding. To put it bluntly anything that will get between you and the road during a slide is a very good idea!
Many of the styles we carry also feature CE (a standard set in Europe) approved armor in the jacket design, to help absorb impact damage.
When choosing your new motorbike or biker jacket, while style may be a top choice, the idea of these jackets is to be part of your safety gear and make your rides about enjoying the road.
